Project Summary:

The consortium aims to develop a system for optimizing ship propellers to enable energy regeneration and enhance propulsive efficiency. This system includes the design and installation of a wake nozzle and pre-swirl fins, which reduce cavitation and vibrations while simultaneously improving the efficiency of the propeller.

The main objective of the project is to strengthen the competitiveness of the blue economy sector by investing in priority niches through collaborative development of innovative high value-added solutions aimed at improving the propulsive efficiency of vessel propulsion systems.

EU Co-financing: €1,112,215.02

Project Implementation Period: 1 February 2025 – 31 January 2028
